7. REFUND POLICY
The TEFL HQ Course is provided as an “all-in-one” software package, which means that once enrolment fees are paid, admission to the program is final. Whereas there is no penalty for failing to complete the course once enrolled, if you do not complete the course, you will not be eligible for a refund of any enrolment or other fees paid.
This is in line with existing rules and regulations pertaining to certificate accreditation provided through TEFL HQ, and with respect to which the course terms are obliged to adhere.
8. COURSE EXPIRY
In order to receive the TEFL certificate of completion from TEFL HQ, you are required to successfully complete all aspects of the TEFL HQ course (including unit-end exams and the final exam) within one year of receiving your course login details from TEFL HQ. If you fail to complete the course within one year, you will not be awarded a certificate of completion and, in accordance with Paragraph 7, will not be eligible for a refund.
9. SITE TERMS OF USE MODIFICATIONS
TEFL HQ may revise these terms and conditions of use at any time without notice. By using this website, you are agreeing to be bound by any updated version of these Terms and Conditions of Use.
10. ACADEMIC INTEGRITY
You are expected to complete my homework assignments, quizzes, and exams independently. If you are found to have committed plagiarism, you will be removed from the course and will not be awarded the TEFL HQ certificate. In accordance with Paragraph 7, no refund will be offered if you are removed from the course.
You are prohibited from posting assignments, test questions, and course content online. If you fail to adhere to this policy, you will not receive the TEFL HQ certificate and will be removed from the course. 11. FAILED TESTS
Exams are locked after two failed attempts to ensure that you take the time required to learn everything necessary for the completion of the course. Locked exams cannot be re-accessed for forty-eight hours. After forty-eight hours, you will be able to attempt the exam again. If you are unsuccessful, the exam will be locked for another forty-eight hours, etc.
You must pass each unit-end exam before progressing forward in the course. To receive the certificate, you must pass all six unit-end exams as well as the final exam.
12. GOVERNING LAW
Any claim relating to TEFL HQ’s website shall be governed by the laws of the New Zealand without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
